Amazing as soon we walked in! We walked in on a short notice and we were a basketball team! Fast orders and food was amazing! Everyone got salad bar with our order and it was probably the best experience I have and they in a while! Tables floor everything was clean!
I came here when I was around 10 years old for the first time! I'm 34 now and brought my kids! It was just like I remembered! The staff was super friendly, it was clean, and the food was great! My kids aged 3 and 5 loved it! I got the filet. It was pretty decent! The salad/nacho/dessert bar was awesome! My daughter keeps asking when we are coming back!
The service was great. I know, I know, it's not "fancy" food. But, going there teleports me back to my youth. So, while stying in Belle Vernon for business and seeing one close by, I had to indulge. The salad bar remains the same, decade after decade. 5 stars based on cleanliness, service, and memories.
I always enjoy the food when go to this restaurant. The staff is always friendly and everything is clean. The only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is everything is overpriced.
I again visited this location of Hoss's, which, if you are not familiar with the chain, is very casual. My husband's and my 7-ounce filet mignon with salad bar cost $22 each. The steaks were cooked as we had requested and tasted as good as at a fancy restaurant. The seating hostess and waitress were courteous and prompt.
Hoss' brings me back to my college days when you can get a great salad/soup bar and piece of meat for a fair price. Not much has changed with this family style restaurant. It isn't fancy, but you'll always get quality food at a good price. I got the thick steak meal 6 ounce with salad and steamed broccoli. Lynsey gave us great service and food came out quick.
